Tonight, Thursday, May 12, is the first Barefoot at the Belmont concert of the season with Bobby Long and Josh Weathers performing. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $15 for KXT members and $20 otherwise. The Belmont’s free “dive-in” movie series starts next Thursday, May 19, with a screening of “Casablanca”. The schedule also includes “Harold & Maude” on June 16, “Dazed and Confused” on July 14, and “Almost Famous” on Aug. 18.

There is a farmers market at Luckie’s Saturday morning.

A pop-up dog park from Fido Oak Cliff and the Better Block Project is from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

The Oak Cliff Virtual Speed Bump Art Tour is from noon-7 p.m. Saturday.

Switching Gears Cyclery, the new Exposition Park bike shop from Oak Cliff native Colin Clarke and partner Andee Pittman, is throwing a grand opening party from 3-9 p.m. Saturday. There will be live music from Sea Lion, door prizes, drinks, Lonestar Goldsprints, and a bike race from the colorful Team Party Time crew.

The Modern Family Fest is from noon-6 p.m. Sunday at Folsom Fitness Center Park at Methodist hospital. The festival includes live music on a stage sponsored by Brooklyn Jazz Cafe, vendors, food, games, family portraits and more. Tickets are $5 for kids, $10 for adults or $60 for a family. Proceeds benefit Friends of Wednesday’s Child.

Fort Worth-based filmmaker David Lowery will be at the Texas Theatre this weekend for screenings of his feature film “St. Nick” and a short, “Pioneer”.
