This weekend: music, theater, bicycle blessing, Memorial Day party

The Kessler has the Camp Wisdom Series Memorial Day go-go party at 8 p.m. Friday with Shaun Martin. Tickets are $15.

The Texas Theatre has live theater this weekend, “The Birthday Boys”, which plays at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday. Also showing this weekend is Hobo With a Shotgun.

Church in the Cliff is having a “Blessing of the Bicycles” during its 11 a.m. service at the Kessler Theater in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. Everyone is welcome to come have their bikes blessed at the outdoor service.

Smoke is having a Memorial Day party from 3-10 p.m. Monday. It starts at the Belmont Hotel pool with cocktails, beer and appetizers. That’s followed by a family-style meal on the back patio at Smoke. Dinner is $35 per person.
