The Dallas Public Library is kicking off the Mayor’s Summer Reading Program with a concert series at branch libraries around the city. Brave Combo performs a free concert at the Hampton-Illinios Branch Library Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m.

The summer reading program is for children age 18 and younger. They are encouraged to read five hours a day, or three hours a day for kids 10 and younger. They visit their branch library weekly for prizes and events. Even kids too young to read can participate by attending story time. Register at dallaslibrary.org.
