Roy Salinas was killed in a collision with a suspected drunken-driver.

The 35-year-old victim of an alleged drunken driver on Cole Avenue Tuesday night was Roy Salinas of Oak Cliff.

Salinas was driving his Honda scooter when he was struck by a driver going the wrong way on southbound Cole in a Mercedes-Benz sedan, according to a Dallas Morning News report. Salinas was taken to Baylor University Medical Center, where he died.

The driver of the Mercedes, 54-year-old Tim William Parks, was charged with intoxication manslaughter and was being held in the Dallas County jail.
