This weekend: craft party, community market, music, bike rides

Etsy Dallas is hosting a craft party from 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 10,  at Oil & Cotton.

Luckie’s Community Market is from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 11. They’ll have local vendors, a DJ, guest speaker Andrea Bithell from Oak Cliff Organics, and Luckie’s will be serving brisket tacos and bloody mary’s.

This isn’t in the neighborhood, but it’s worth mentioning that a slow bike ride to commemorate the 100th anniversary of White Rock Lake starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Boathouse.

Brave Combo performs for the kiddos at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hampton-Illinois Branch Library.

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is leading a historical ride, Hell Hound on My Trail, Sunday. The ride starts at 1:30 p.m. at Dealey Plaza, follows a 9.2-mile course, and ends in Oak Cliff.” The ride will tour sites related to Dallas’ musical heritage, including Deep Ellum and the building downtown where Robert Johnson recorded “Hellhound on my Trail”.
