Tonight, Thursday, July 7, is first Thursday in the Bishop Arts District, and there’s a wine walk. Pay $5 for a glass and have it filled at participating retailers. This isn’t the only wine walk this month. There’s also one on Bastille Day.
Also tonight, from 7-9 p.m., beat poet Christopher Carmona will read from his new book, Beat at Cliff Notes Prolonged Media. Carmona will also make an appearance at Poets on X+ from 8-11 p.m. Friday at Mighty Fine Arts.
The Texas Theatre has “Troll Hunter”, “Norwegian Ninja”, “Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop” and “Wings of Desire”.
The Kessler presents Storytellers at the Kessler: Billy Joe Shaver Saturday at 8 p.m.
