There’s plenty do to in Oak Cliff this weekend, but who’s having a heatwave party? On Saturday, Aug. 13, we tie the record for the most consecutive days of temperatures 100 degrees or higher with 42. Maybe it’s nothing to celebrate, but we’re all feeling a little whacky, right? It doesn’t even have to be a party. Just turn on some Martha and the Vandellas and make one of these Martha Stewart cocktails. While we’re on Marthas, maybe we also should ask St. Martha to slay this dragon of a summer? Express our lament through interpretive dance like Martha Graham? I don’t know. It’s your party.
