Bravo’s newest Top Chef show, which premieres Nov. 2, will have scenes from our city (as well as Austin and San Antonio) but most of its chef competitors are from New York, Chicago, Seattle and California. Only two are from the Lone Star State, both from Austin.

That’s disappointing if you’re a fan of the local dining scene, but there’s always the chance that local restaurants will be part of the competition. The full list of “Top Chef: Texas” hopefuls is after the jump.
