We checked out the Oak Cliff 9/11 memorial at Jefferson and Beckley this morning, and everyone should go experience it this weekend. Oak Cliff Bank Tower managing partner Ralph Isenberg, who collects 9/11-related art and organizes a memorial every year, brought in the Better Block guys to make this year’s memorial.

It consists of two shipping containers, placed on end, which represent the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Families can paint the memorial sign, make flower bouquets to place at the memorial, or bring their own token to leave.

Fifth graders from the Kessler School were there on a field trip this morning. They were babies on 9/11.
