Friday is the first day of fall, and all the super fun times are coming up.

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff’s Cyclesomatic is back, and instead of the 2009 original “10 days of bicycle love”, we are getting a whole month of bicycle love. It all starts Oct. 7-8 with a tour from Exposition Park to Cedar Hill State Park for overnight camping. There’s also a bike-in movie, a ride to the State Fair of Texas, a ride to City Hall, a bicycle scavenger hunt and a Ray Charles tour of Dallas. Check the full schedule. It’s being updated all the time.

Go Oak Cliff’s Blues, Bandits and BBQ is at Lake Cliff Park this year, on Saturday, Oct. 22. They’re fencing off a huge area of the park, where there will be barbecue, beer and stages for bands. Tickets are $15.

BFOC and Go Oak Cliff are teaming up to bring this year’s Cliff Fest and Tweed Ride all in one crazy day. That’s Sunday, Nov. 13. Details are still coming together, but Cliff Fest, the Oak Cliff-centric festival, is from noon-6 p.m. They’re accepting applications for performers, vendors and nonprofits who want to participate.
