It all starts with a tour from Switching Gears Cyclery in Expo Park (co-owner Colin Clarke is an Oak Cliff native) to Joe Pool Lake on Friday. But there’s something for everyone: A bike-in double feature at Incense and Peppermints Saturday, Oct. 8 includes the short film, “Bikelordz”, at 7:30 p.m. and “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure” at 8.
The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League Fall Home Tour is Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the homes on the tour, we hear the Twelve Hills Nature Center will have high-end dog houses on display. And Stevens Park Golf Course will be open as part of the tour.
The monthly block party in the Tyler/Davis district is from 6-10 p.m. Saturday.
The Orbans and Analog Rebellion perform at the Kessler Saturday.
