This weekend: Soapbox derby, rockers, mods, theater

The Odd County Fair, a square dance and soap-box derby benefiting Sunset High School, is from noon-5 p.m. Saturday in the Bishop Arts District.

The sixth-annual Rockers vs. Mods kicks off with a meet-and-greet tonight, March 30, from 6-8 at BarBelmont. DJ Wild in the Streets kicks out the jams.

Eric Steele of the Texas Theatre is receiving terrific reviews for “The Midwest Trilogy,” a presentation of two short films followed by one live play. The trilogy runs through April 7 at Second Thought Theater.

The Kessler Theater has Carolyn Wonderland Sunday.
