Hopefully by now, you’ve had a chance to read Gayla Brooks Kokel’s column on the churches of Tenth Street, which at one time “held the record in ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ for having more churches per mile, on a street, than any other place in the world.”

On our website is a great slideshow of historical images sent to us from these churches, and you shouldn’t miss it. Not only are the photos incredible, but the anecdotes with the photos are priceless. (Read them by clicking on the “i” in the slideshow, or by scrolling through the photos on our Flickr page.)
