The Oak Cliff Film Festival is June 14-17 at several locations around the ‘hood: The Texas Theatre, the Kessler Theater, the Bishop Arts Theater, the Dallas Zoo and the Belmont Hotel, among other Oak Cliff locations.

All-access badges go on sale today, and for every one sold, $5 goes to the North Texas Food Bank. Badge holders get access to all screenings and parties, plus they’re placed first in line for all films and have access to VIP lounges at each venue.

Aviation Cinemas, the young filmmakers who run the Texas Theatre, are organizing the festival. The Oak Cliff Foundation, which owns the Texas Theatre building, is a financial sponsor. Look for a full festival guide in the June Advocate.

Films scheduled so far include a screening of “Fantastic Mr. Fox” at the Dallas Zoo, plus “The Ambassador,” “The Ghastly Love of Johnny X,” “Your Brother. Remember?” and many more.

Parties and events include a picnic with cocktails and croquet at Turner House, a bicycle tour retracing Lee Harvey Oswald’s steps to the Texas Theatre and several panels, lounges and mixers.
