Grammy award-winning folk singer, humorist, and actor, Loudon Wainwright, makes his Kessler debut Friday June, 22. Wainwright has released 25 albums since coming to fame in 1972 and will play tunes from his latest album, “Older Than My Old Man Now.” Tickets range from $25-$37 and are available at prekindle.com.

The Underworld Art Gallery, which opened a couple of months ago at 115 S. Beckley opens its second exhibit this weekend, and it sounds like a real party. The Body Art Exhibit starts at 7 p.m. and goes all night, Saturday, June 23. The event features six artists body painting six models.The show costs $10, which includes food, drinks and dancing to DJs.

The North Oak Cliff branch library is hosts “Library Live!” at 2 p.m. Saturday. The event, presented by Target, features Rolanda Brigham’s Once Upon a Farm. This family-friendly, interactive storytelling is fun for all ages and a great way to connect with neighbors.

If you missed Bela Tarr’s “The Turin Horse” at the Oak Cliff Film Festival last weekend, catch it at 3 p.m. Saturday or Sunday at Texas Theatre. The theater also screens “Bill W.,” a film based on the Alcoholic Anonymous founder’s life, and a 35-mm print of “Young Frankenstein.”

The Tyler Street United Methodist Church is hosting Jazz Mosaic this Sunday, June 24. Artist Neeki Bey & Jazz Mosaic is a complete service of world musician, Jazz quartet and West African percussion who performs for all denominations, religious and non-religious groups.
