A few minutes later, a 60-year-old woman flagged down police after she’d been hit by a pellet gun blast in the 3500 block of Fordham. She told police a car pulled up beside her, and someone inside asked her for the time, then shot her several times. She was treated at the scene.

Police think those attacks are related, according to a story from KDFW. That’s interesting especially in light of an item on the crime page of the September Advocate. On June 7, a 72-year-old man was working in his garden in the 400 block of Willomet when someone shot him in the back with a pellet gun. That happened around 1 p.m. on a Thursday.

In that case, the man described the vehicle as a red or maroon Dodge van. In the other cases, the vehicle was described as a black Dodge four-door sedan and an aqua or blue four-door car.
