This weekend: Jewelry, authors, music, bachelors, doggie DNA

Jewelry designer F is for Frank, co-owned by Oak Cliff resident Shoshannah Frank, hosts a party from 6-9 tonight, Thursday, July 19 at its Design District studio to celebrate its new collection.

Oil & Cotton hosts a reading with three authors, Miah Arnold, Evan Cleveland and Joe Milazzo, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 20.

The Kessler Theater has Sarah Jarosz Friday and Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis Saturday.

The Bishop Arts Theatre Center hosts a bachelor auction fundraiser Saturday, July 21. General admission tickets cost $35. VIP tickets cost $50 and include a reception with the bachelors from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For more information, call 214.948.0716.

The Animal Rescue of Texas hosts a fundraiser to help your puppy find its heritage. “Who’s your Daddy?” offers $60 DNA tests at Green Pet in the Bishop Arts District, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 21. The animal rescue will use the proceeds to find homes for dogs and provide shelter for homeless ones.
