The Dallas Zoo has a couple of fun volunteer opportunities coming up.
Volunteers for Halloween Nights at the zoo dress up in costumes and pass out candy. Volunteer one or more days, 4-8:30 p.m., Oct. 25-28.
Running for the Rhinos, the second-annual 5k run is from 7:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Volunteers are needed to man water stations and other tasks.
