Oak Cliff native Ryan Moats, who is a running back in the NFL, is also an app developer. Moats, who is a free agent, and Baltimore Ravens safety Bernard Pollard recently released a game app called Bouré, according to a story in the Baltimore Sun.

Pollard noticed that the card game, pronounced boo-ray, is popular among NFL players, and they often wager mega money on it. “I’ve seen people dropping $70,000 or $80,000,” Pollard told the Sun.

So he asked his former teammate, Moats, to develop the iPhone app, which is available for $1.99.

Moats, who graduated from Bishop Lynch High School and Louisiana Tech, also helped develop Madden NFL 2013 for EA sports, when he was and intern there between NFL seasons.

Now Moats is creating a 3D graphics lab and classroom for Bishop Dunne High School in Oak Cliff.
