A couple of neighborhood events for National Night Out (or, more accurately, Texas Night Out, since cooler climates do their thing in the summertime), Tuesday, Oct. 2, have been announced.
Methodist hospital hosts an event from 5:30-7 p.m. with food, live music, security fingerprinting and free prostate cancer screenings.
And the annual event in Winnetka Heights starts at 6 p.m. at Stemmons Park. Free food, activities for kids and a meet-and-greet with City Council members Scott Griggs and Delia Jasso as well as representatives from the Dallas police and North Oak Cliff United Police Patrol.
