New nature president on Board

Marcie Haley is now president elect of the Twelve Hills Nature Center board of directors. Twelve Hills, the urban preserve located at 817 Mary Cliff, works to teach people about caring for the environment and also to maintain native prairie land.

Haley got kids to care about nature through the Twelve Hills Nature Leaders Program, which trained Rosemont Elementary students to guide younger children on nature walks. Previously, Haley served as Master Naturalist and chair of the Education Committee.
