Advocate photos: Spooky Cross and Blues, Bandits and BBQ

Saturday was a big whirlwind of barbecue, bikes and music.

The Spooky Cross cyclocross race at Rosemont Elementary drew hundreds of racers and spectators. I had a fun morning there.

The third-annual Blues, Bandits and BBQ festival brought nine live bands and over 20 barbecue cook-off competitors. Four Corners Brewing, the West Dallas brewer, made its public debut, pouring more than 40 kegs worth of their Local Buzz. It tasted great with barbecue. We’ve posted some pictures after the jump.
