The inaugural North Oak Cliff Music Festival is this Saturday, Nov. 3, at Lake Cliff Park. And the line-up features a ton of local acts, plus a few Texas favorites.
Oak Cliff-based singer/songwriter Jacob Metcalf opens the show at 11:30 a.m. Yells At Eels, the Oak Cliff-based jazz trio performs at noon.
Guitar virtuoso Hunter Hendrickson performs at 12:45 p.m., and Jim Suhler and Monkey Beat, a blues band, performs at 1:3o. They’re all based in Dallas.
Bobby Patterson, the jack of all music trades, performs at 2:30. And bluesman Lucky Peterson goes on at 3:30.

Also on the bill are Carolyn Wonderland at 4:45, Alejandro Escovedo at 5:45 and the Joe Ely Band at 7 p.m.
Tickets to hear all that live music cost only $12 in advance. That’s gotta be the best deal in town.
