Nuns, chicken sandwiches at Bishop Arts Theatre this week

Chick-Fil-A, Nuns on the Bus, the war on women — ain’t this a fun political season?

Or, as local playwright Jonathan Norton puts it, “Ain’t This Some Sh*t!” That’s part of the title of Norton’s play, which opens at the Bishop Arts Theatre Center Wednesday and runs through Oct. 14.

The full title continues: “A Conservative Right-Wing Guide To Over-Simplifying The Complexities of the Female Body and Extolling the Virtues of Jesus’ Favorite Southern Fried Treat”
