Tuesday: Found magazine and re-treeing Oak Cliff

Tuesday, Nov. 27, is major in Oak Cliff.

A $20 donation to ReTree Oak Cliff buys tasters from Four Corners, Franconia, Breckenridge and Harpoon, from 6-9 p.m. at Eno’s. That party, Tasters for Trees, also includes karaoke. Karaoke + beer = LOLZ. And it’s all for a good cause. ReTree Oak Cliff plans to plant 4,000 trees in Oak Cliff by 2016. Mmmm, oxygen.

Found magazine brings “My Heart is an Idiot” to the Texas Theatre. Found’s founders, brothers Davy and Peter Rothbart, are celebrating the magazine’s 10th anniversary with a tour of 75 cities. Peter will read from his book of personal essays, “My Heart is an Idiot,” and share tales from the Found mailbox. Peter will perform humorous songs inspired by Found. That show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10.
