Bike lanes are planned on Sylvan between Kessler Parkway and Colorado, and the city wants your input.
The proposal is to take Sylvan to four lanes instead of six and to make buffered bike lanes on each side of the street. The changes could make that stretch of hilly, winding road bikeable for almost anyone.
Funding and a timetable have not been worked out yet, but a community meeting is set for 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at Salon Las Americas.
