Remember those record-setting temperatures at the beginning of the month? Get ready for a chance for a couple more, when the high is expected to be near 80 tomorrow and Wednesday – less than a week before Christmas, no less.
Setting the record on Tuesday will be iffy; it’s 81, set in 1980, that year of miserably memorable heat. But Wednesday should be no trouble at all, since the record is only 73, and set just four years ago. The only good news in any of this? That we probably won’t break the all-time December record – 90 in 1951, another year of legendary Texas heat.
