Kidd Springs rec center needs Christmas decorations

The Kidd Springs Central neighborhood association bought a new tree for the park’s recreation center a few years ago. But all the Christmas-tree ornaments, garlands and lights were lost during the recent renovations.

If you dig up any extra decorations, the rec center could use them. The neighborhood association also is asking for poinsettia plants, cotton balls for fake snow and blue butcher paper.

Drop donations off at the center, 711 W. Canty. The rec center his hosting a holiday open house from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22.
