Just twenty bucks gets you a spot at the starting line for the fourth-annual Dash for the Beads 5k race Feb. 9. But registration goes up after Dec. 30 to $30.
The race moves out of Bishop Arts this time around and into Kidd Springs Park. The new route will bring runners through East Kessler and the Kessler running trail and then back to Kidd Springs for the after party, which includes complimentary beer from Rahr and activities for kids. As always, there will be costume contests for people and pets.
Proceeds from the race benefit Fido Oak Cliff.
