Wigwam is a collective of some of our neighborhood’s most creative and crush-worthy young women. They started out with a pop-up shop at the first Better Block in 2010, and they’re back to help with your Christmas list. Wigwam opens with a reception from 7-10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Oil and Cotton. The Tamale Co. will be on hand with their tamale cart. The shop also will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8, and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. Check out this sneak peek of the Wigwam wares.

The furniture fete

Interior designers 4Love and Patina Bleu are teaming up for a three-day “furniture fete.” Their opening party is from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, less than a block from Oil and Cotton, at 4Love. Shop for furniture and get free design advice at the sale, which continues through Sunday, Dec. 9.

First Thursday in Bishop Arts

Brumley Gardens is setting up a Christmas tree pop-up shop in the pocket park next door to Emporium Pies. All the shops stay open late, and it’s keep-the-glass night at Eno’s, which will be pouring Four Corners brewery’s La Bajada Brown, Paletero Pale and Local Buzz.

Urban Street Bazaar

It’s back! This bazaar features vintage and locally made items and is from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday in Bishop Arts.

Mighty Fine Arts moving sale

While you’re out on Tyler Street, don’t forget to check out Mighty Fine Arts. Gallery owner Steve Cruz is moving a few doors down, so he’s clearing out the closets. The gallery is open noon-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

HollyDaze Gift Craze

From the Ends of the Earth and CocoAndré Chocolatier are throwing a party from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at 835 W. Davis. Local artists will have artwork for sale, DJ Ish will bring the tunes and CocoAndré will make hot chocolate. Wear your ugly Christmas sweater.

Art Party Sale

The Davis Foundry Gallery’s second-annual holiday sale is from 1-10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. Gallery owner Art Garcia and 14 other local artists will offer artwork for under $100.
