Former Cowbys player Everson Walls to speak at Bishop Arts Theater

Agiftforron The Bishop Arts Theater Center kicks off its speaker series Thursday, Jan. 17, with Everson Walls, who played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1981-89 and retired from the NFL in ’93.

Walls grew up in Richardson, went to Berkner High School and played football at Grambling State University. In 2007, he donated a kidney to former teammate Ron Springs, who had diabetes. Walls wrote about the experience in a 2009 book, A Gift for Ron.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. talk cost $15.
