Oak Cliff-based artist Stephen Lapthisophon received the 2012 Moss/Chumley award from the Meadows Museum at SMU. The award is given annually to an outstanding North Texas artist who has exhibited professionally for at least 10 years and has a track record as an advocate for the visual arts.
