At the moment I write this, there are still a few standing-room-only tickets left to Lucinda Williams at the Kessler Friday, Jan. 18. Two acoustic performances from Los Lobos this weekend are sold out. We suspect the next sellout there could be The Residents, who perform Feb. 1 and 2.
Suzanne Kimbrell performs at Ten Bells Tavern at 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28. A pal tells me she was served the best old fashioned of her life there last Friday.

We missed telling you last weekend about the re-opening of Mighty Fine Arts gallery. But Jennifer and Matthew Guest’s “Doing Wrong Right” is up until Jan. 20. The gallery, now at 409 N. Tyler, is open noon-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
The creator and host of “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” Joel Hodgson, appears at the Texas Theatre Saturday, Jan. 19.
