Oak Cliff Earth Day is Sunday, April 21, at Lake Cliff Park. The free event features food trucks, live performances, contests, animal shows and more. The event lasts from noon-5 p.m., with live performances starting at 12:30 p.m.
Highlights include the mutt strut pet parade, a free yoga class, the “Pooch Smooch” kissing booth, informative talks and winning entries from the “How Do You Save the Earth?” poster contest.
Donations to the pooch smooch kissing both and Sync Yoga & Wellbeing’s 11 a.m. class benefit Seniors Pet Assistance Network.
The “green speaks” series will include instruction on composting, landscaping, water conservation and more.
