“He gives to his community tirelessly,” says Edwin Cabaniss of the Kessler. “Build a Better Jason is a way for everyone who knows, loves and appreciates him to help him close the book on his fight with cancer.”

The May 25 fundraiser starts at 7 p.m. with a bike ride from Eno’s to the Kessler.

Performers include John Singer Sergeant of the Deathray Davies, the White Ghost Shivers and Bobby Patterson. The event costs $25 and also includes an art auction and snacks. All proceeds will go toward Roberts’ medical bills.
