Police say the video below shows the men exiting Gomez-Martinez’s truck outside a convenience store on the same day the victim’s body was found.

Gomez-Martinez’s death was one of at least five killings in Oak Cliff over an 11-day period:

On June 21, a former employee shot 29-year-old Alejandro “Ace” Fernandez dead in the barbershop he owned in the 300 block of West Jefferson.

Two days later, 22-year-old Fernando Lopez was stabbed to death during a fight in the 600 block of West Jefferson.

Book reviewer Penny Terk, 73, was found dead in her Red Bird home June 28. Gary Anthony Sanders has been charged in that crime.

The body of 25-year-old Quakeisha Thompson of Duncanville was found near Illinois and Coombs Creek Drive on July 1. Thompson had been shot several times, and police have charged 24-year-old Antravious Williams with murder in that case.

Anyone who has information on the death of Gomez-Martinez or who recognizes the men in the photos should call Detective Sayers, 214.283.4849, or give an anonymous tip by calling Crime stoppers, 214.373.8477.
