The Texas Theatre shows “National Lampoon’s Vacation” Friday-Sunday. They’re also screening “A Band Called Death” all weekend, and after Saturday’s show, DJ Wanz Dover plays a punk rock set in the lounge and behind the scene is a performance from a new band, Radioactive, featuring members of Marked Men.

Brandon Callies Band performs at the Kessler Friday night. And on Saturday night, a supergroup of local musicians performs The Talking Heads’ album “Remain in Light.”

Rolling Stones cover band Satisfaction performs at Safari Nights at the Dallas Zoo Saturday. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., and it’s free with zoo admission, which costs $12 for adults, plus $8 for parking.
