Now he league has funds to give to nonprofits. In the past, the league has given to Turner House and Friends of Oak Cliff Parks.

Here are the guidelines for the grants:

  • Grants must be supplemental, not the sole source of project revenue.
  • Grants must be for a tangible Oak Cliff-based project such as historic preservation and/or community improvement or beautification. Projects falling outside the Oak Cliff geographic area will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Grants expire one year after issuance and are considered forfeited thereafter. Unused or forfeited grant allocations are placed in the next year’s available grant funds.
