Recent Adamson graduate Mayra Millan appeared on KERA’s “Students Speak Out” special last week.
Show host Krys Boyd asks Millan, now a Texas A&M University freshman, to become a highly successful student.
“Drive, motivation, that’s what really sets you apart,” says Millan, who was raised in Oak Cliff by a single mother who survived congestive heart failure.
