The DADA bike swarm starts at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center. The group will ride to Burger Fest in Deep Ellum and visit galleries before heading to the Meddlesome Moth at 3 p.m. for a tour of the design district.
Oak Cliff resident John Slate will be signing copies of his new books, “John F. Kennedy Sites in DFW” and “Dealey Plaza,” from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sixth Floor Museum.
The Fort Worth Avenue Development Group’s big fundraiser, Spare Parts, is from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Babb Bros. BBQ. Tickets to the ’70s-themed party cost $35.
