This weekend: Cyclesomatic, health fair, pumpkin patch

pumpkinpatchCycesomatic, Bike Friendly Oak Cliff’s month-long celebration of bicycles, starts at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, with the Craft and Growler bicycle brewery tour.

The PhotoVelo scavenger hunt moves to Lee Harvey’s this year. Competitors will complete tasks and take photos in the Cedars, downtown and Deep Ellum. It starts at noon Sunday.

The Concilio’s seventh-annual health and fitness fair, Get Up Get Moving, is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Kiest Park Recreation Center. The fair includes free health screenings, cooking demos and “the largest attempted Zumbathon in Dallas.”

The Kessler School’s annual fundraiser, the pumpkin patch and art fair, is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. There will be live music, a bounce house, food and games, all on the lawn of Kessler Park United Methodist Church.
