When the Dallas Marathon moved its course into our side of the river for the first time every last year, the West Dallas Chamber offered cash prizes totaling $3,500 for nonprofits showing the most spirit along the West Dallas Loop.

This year, the loop has a sponsor; now it’s the Dickey’s West Dallas Loop, and $11,000 is up for grabs to nonprofits that cheer the runners with style an energy along the 2-mile segment.
