Los Dias de Los Muertos in Oak Cliff this past weekend included an art show at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center and chocolate art at CocoAndre.

Pasteleria Maroches threw a block party Saturday with music, face painting, crafts and food. We weren’t expecting a wrestling ring.

I’m not a photographer, and I took this with my cracked-screen iPhone. It is a lucky shot.

[By the way, does anyone remember Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka? He was my favorite wrestler (leave me alone about the Von Erichs; I’m not from Texas), and his signature move was the Superfly Splash. Basically, what that luchador up there was doing on West Davis Saturday.]
