A Latin-Asian fusion place opens at Trinity Groves Dec. 30.
Chino Chinatown’s menu includes cochinita pibil steam buns, duck fat fried rice, lobster shooters and “phozole.” The restaurant will be open Monday-Saturday for dinner and late nights. A dim sum brunch will begin next month.
Chef Uno Immanivong was a contestant on ABC’s “The Taste,” and her partner in Chino is restaurateur Adrian Verdin.
There also will be a late-night menu with items from $4-$9 and $6 cocktails.
Celebrity barman Jason Kosmas designed the drink menu, which also features cocktails by the pitcher.
