Oak Cliff’s annual Mardi Gras 5k, Dash for the Beads, is Saturday, March 1.
Early registration costs $25 and is open through Dec. 30. After that, it goes up to $30. This year’s run benefits neighborhood schools.
The big Mardi Gras parade in Oak Cliff is planned for Sunday, March 2.
