Three people were injured by gunfire during a bar fight near Jefferson and Llewellyn last weekend. That is near where a 22-year-old was killed in a fight last summer.

Someone set fire to the playground equipment at Arcadia Park Elementary School this week, destroying it. School board trustee Eric Cowan reports it will cost $50,000 to replace.

City Council will decide next week whether to spend $3.2 million to remove thousands of tires and other trash from the Trinity River and Lake Ray Hubbard.
