El Ranchito introduced a new dish recently. Borrego asado is New Zealand baby lamb with seasoned onions. It’s served with rice, beans and pico de gallo for $17.95.

Chef Najat Kaanache has left Souk, the Moroccan restaurant at Trinity Groves, following a two-star review from the Dallas Morning News.

The Dallas Observer’s food critic gave The Local Oak a favorable review because bacon and also, Oak Cliff.
