The long-awaited grocery store at Sylvan Thirty will open in less than one month.
Cox Farms Market will open April 24. Mayor Mike Rawlings will be on hand at 10 a.m. for a ribbon cutting that is open to the public.
The independent grocer, which has one store in Duncanville, originally was announced as the development’s anchor tenant in March 2011, a year before the developer broke ground.
While the store itself has been pretty much ready to go for weeks, the opening has been delayed by construction on Sylvan Avenue.
