Developer Brent Jackson took us on a tour of Sylvan Thirty’s retail spaces and four-story apartment buildings Tuesday.

The development’s main entrance is on Sylvan Avenue, across the street from the entrance of the Chase bank building. Everything is centered on a grassy park, and all of the surface parking is made of decomposed granite. Removable bollards allow for food trucks to park in the plaza.

Jackson says Sylvan Thirty will host community events every month, including 5k races, charity events, flea markets and arts events.

“Programming the space is really important,” he says.
