Not photogenic, but delicious, the Philly cheesteak from Cheesteak House
The new Cheesesteak House on West Davis at Marlborough is nothing fancy or hip.
It’s just a perfect place to take the whole family for a classic Philly cheesesteak. The staff is friendly and they prepare your order quickly.
This place is in a small shopping center on Davis, a bit closer to Hampton Avenue than to Bishop Arts. While the menu offers burgers, fries, salads, and chips and queso, cheesesteak is their specialty. The steak is cooked right in front of you, and they use cheese whiz in true Philadelphia form.
Have it topped off with your preferred combination of toppings including onions, bell peppers, jalapenos and mushrooms. They even offer several kinds of dressing, including a delicious habanero sauce. The cheese whiz and steak make this a very savory dish. Fantastic that Oak Cliff now has a place to get a real Philly cheesesteak!
